"Al Khalifah Regime is Deadlocked"

"Bahraini officials are deadlocked on finding solutions to their increasing problems; Bahraini people's patience and sacrifices will help them realize their demands soon," said a senior Bahraini cleric and member of al-Wafa opposition group.

Hawzah News Agency (Manama, Bahrain) - Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Mortadha al-Sanadi asserted, " Al Khalifah regime is deadlocked and they have no way out but to be overthrown from power,"

In an interview with Hawzah News he added,"Today, the Bahrainis' revolution is still proceeding and the people insist on keeping their movement going forward; on the other hand, Al Khalifah's oppressive and ruthless actions has reached its highest point so much that they fight Bahraini Shias by any means available to them.

Al-Sanadi said: "They even cross the boundaries and insult religious scholars and oppose their Islamic rulings on Khums (almsgiving); such cruel measures on the part of Al Khalifah prove the fact that their regime is deadlocked and they are left with no way out; Bahraini people can soon realize their rightful demands if they keep fighting patiently and strongly for their cause,"

The influence of Bahraini scholars in this popular movement is of great significance as currently more than 20 revolutionary scholars and clerics are imprisoned by Al Khalifah regime. Since the beginning of this popular revolution up to this point, more than 50 clerics have been jailed and later freed by regime forces and some of them are still on trial by Al Khalifah courts,"

Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim also played a vital role in making Bahrainis united; he is considered as a god-father to all Bahraini people. All the attacks and insults being carried out against him are the consequence of his support for the revolution and his standing up for the rights of Bahraini citizens. That's the reason why Al Khalifah is carrying out vicious attacks against religious scholars in Bahrain; they want to undermine clerics' influence on the revolution and the people of Bahrain."
